SSA will continue accepting abstracts until Thursday, 30 January. All submissions during this period will be considered for poster presentations and will be considered as they are submitted.

**Accepting Abstracts for Late-breaking Session on Recent and Future Large Earthquakes
A newly added session will focus on preliminary research results on the latest sequences around the world, including the ongoing earthquake swarm near Ethiopia, and the 2025 M 7.1 Southern Tibetan Plateau earthquake.
Abstract submission deadline for late-breaking session: 28 February.
Abstract Submission Requirements
Submit Your Abstract 1 December 2024 – 14 January 2025
Abstract Guidelines:
- Your title must include no more than 250 characters including spaces.
- Your abstract description must include no more than two paragraphs and 2,150 characters (including spaces).
- You may include up to 30 authors.
- You may use italics, superscript and subscript.
Additional Details:
- There is no limit to the number of abstracts one can submit as a first author.
- The abstract fee is $40 for students, $80 for professionals.
- All oral and poster presenters will be required to attend the meeting in person.
