SSA Annual Meeting 2024

Together We Advance Earthquake Science | 29 April–3 May 2024 | Anchorage, Alaska


We look forward to welcoming you to the meeting in Anchorage, Alaska, which will include a wide range of engaging lectures, poster presentations and special events.

The week will start early on Monday, 29 April and conclude Friday afternoon, 3 May.  Don’t miss a once-in-a-life time opportunity to study earthquake science on a cruise through Prince William Sound on Monday.  Tuesday offers workshops, a second field trip and the opening keynote and reception.  The technical sessions, networking events, special interest groups meetings and more are scheduled for Wednesday through Friday.

Organizing a Special Interest Group at the SSA Annual Meeting

SSA offers registered attendees an opportunity to organize one-hour Special Interest Group (SIG) sessions, which provide an opportunity to share information on new initiatives or opportunities of common interest to meeting attendees.

Submissions are now open until 10 January 2024. View the complete list of technical sessions by clicking the button below. If you don’t see a technical session for your research, submit to the general session and additional sessions will be organized in January.

SSA recommends international participants apply for visas as early as possible before the Annual Meeting. Please remember to contact your consulate to determine the wait time for an interview.
